Protect yourself with these seminars offered throughout 2024 and 2025. 

Seminar titles and dates are as follows:

1. October 9, 2024: Mastering Test-Taking Strategies for Professionals 


This workshop is designed for professionals aiming to enhance their test-taking skills and boost their performance on case study exams. Participants will gain practical strategies to organize information effectively, manage test-related anxiety, and prepare comprehensive notes to optimize their results.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be equipped with the tools and strategies needed to approach case study-based tests with confidence, reduce anxiety, and maximize their performance through effective preparation.

With over 18 years of experience, Aisha Heywood has supported adults, children, and youth with developmental and learning disabilities, mental health disorders, and brain injuries. Her expertise spans teaching, crisis management, policy development, case management, assessments, transition planning, and consultation.

Aisha is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and Education at the University of Toronto, where her focus is on academic coaching related to reading and writing skills.

As a learning coach, Aisha helps post-secondary learners develop effective strategies for learning. She also has extensive experience facilitating workshops that have helped numerous professionals and students enhance their skills and knowledge.

Michael Diotte, OSRP Board Treasurer, OSRP Clinical member, is a registered psychotherapist and certified trauma counsellor. His counselling experience spans over 25 years with special attention given to individuals, family, and relationships in general, along with a focus on emotional, mental, and personal issues.

Michael has an accounting degree as well as bookkeeping and extensive board/not-for-profit experience.

Business background

  • Family business/business management in Alberta & BC / graduated with Business Admin Certificate from Sault College – major in Accounting.

  • Worked 3 + years with the Northern Ontario Indigenous peoples through SLFNHA & Dalton Associates as Clinical Coordinator and Community Counsellor.

3. December 7, 2024: From Hidden Gem to Digital Star: How to Make Your Brand Unmissable


Nadine employs online polls to foster an engaging and interactive session. Participants will be prompted with a series of questions and encouraged to "vote" on their guesses, enhancing information retention.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to generate business demand via digital marketing
  • The most effective platforms for increasing brand awareness
  • Strategies for becoming 'Google-able' to break free from the content creation cycle
