THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO

The Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (OSP) was created in the early 1990s to provide protection for both our members and the general public by handling complaints and discipline with respect to psychotherapy. With the advent of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) in 2015, the role of protecting the public interest has shifted to the College, allowing us to focus on our members and the heart of what we do.

In 2018, we changed our name to Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP) in order to reflect the reality of regulation of psychotherapists in Ontario.
